Jane Cross is an exceptional realtor. My mom had lived in the house for 35 years, she had moved to Florida with me because of health issues, the house was in desperate need of a remodel among other things before I could put in on the market. Jane had been referred to me by an old friend, I called Jane and told her about the condition of the property and my very busy schedule, I was hesitate about the journey I was about to embark on but Jane put my fears to ease, she jumped right in lined up storage space, contractors, put everyone on a time line all while I was 650 miles away. Jane kept me updated with photos and phone calls, the house looked amazing , it sold within 2 days. Jane was not only exceptional at her job but she made the whole dreaded ordeal of selling my Moms house easy for my Mom, she was patient, kind and has an extraordinary personality. I can't say enough about how wonderful my experience was with John Casella, and the Homes By Cross Team. My situation was stressful as I'm going through a divorce. John bent over backward to make buying my house as stressless as possible; from picking up and scanning documents for me and driving them to the lender, to finding me THE perfect house on his FIRST try because he listened to what I was saying I needed, to being patient with me when I didn't get to my emails in a timely manner and never showing one iota of frustration. The company itself makes the whole process easy from eSignature documents to sending you a list of all the utilities for your new address and the phone numbers. I should point out that John's attentiveness and professionalism was so good that the seller started calling John instead of going to her own agent. Yea, he was that good. I lucked out. I didn't know him, just saw his number on Zillow. He knew I was in a bad situation and answered any question I had with patience and grace. I hired Jane to help my 85 year old father sell his house. At 85, my father was anxious about the process, didn't understand modern technology and wasn't about to be patient in waiting for the house to sell. After interviewing another friend who is a successful realtor in the area and getting a recommended listing price that was unsatisfactory (although he told me it was just above the high end of the likely range), I asked Jane her opinions. After visiting the house and without any prompting from me, Jane recommended we list the house for approximately 6.5% more than the other realtor and told me that with her aggressive marketing and considering the local market dynamics we should get close to that amount and get it quickly. While I doubted her advice, I was hopeful that at that offering price I could keep my father patient enough to try it. Bottom line - we had an offer on the house within 1 day of listing and a contract with 72 hours at 99% of the listing price. The deal closed in 45 days. Needless to say, my father and I were thrilled. Jane does a great job using technology to get your house seen and aggressively markets your house will tremendous knowledge of the local housing market. My father and I highly recommend her.
